PROFILE

Chef Adam Ryan is a young, hungry chef, always eager to learn from the best. Having graduated from Humber College in the apprenticeship program a decade ago, his education did not stop there.

Throughout the years, he has grown his creativity and technical knowledge by voluntarily staging in kitchens around the world. He has worked under notable culinary masters, including Chef Jose Andres at MiniBar in Washington DC, Chef Grant Achatz of Alinea in Chicago, as well as at the well-known winery estate, Osteria di Fonterutoli in Chianti, to name a few.

A lover of wine, he also managed to find the time to become a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers.

His experience in Ontario has focused on promoting local farmers and producers while working as Head Chef at Spirit Tree Estate Cidery and Executive Chef at Rural Roots Catering. Most recently, he has joined Bar Reyna as the Head Chef where his creative juices are put to the test by developing unique “Middleteranean” dishes that combine the flavours of the Middle East and extend down the Mediterranean coast to Greece and Spain. Chef Adam is excited to lead the charge at the latest spin-off: Reyna.
